Procurement Specialist

About the role
Our engineering client in Fourways, Sandton, Johannesburg is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support its supply chain activities. The successful candidate will bring at least five years of procurement experience within the engineering sector and will be responsible for managing purchasing processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Key responsibilities
- Execute procurement activities for engineering projects, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking of goods.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify material requirements and delivery schedules.
Required profile
- Matriculation with a relevant degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in a procurement function within the engineering industry.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Familiarity with Syspro.
