Operations Graduate Trainee – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

Red Bull is looking for an Operations Graduate Trainee in Cape Town to gain hands-on experience in Planning, Procurement and Logistics. The role offers practical procurement exposure through projects such as tenders, vendor management, supplier engagement and process improvement, and covers both procurement and supply chain work.

Key responsibilities

• Procurement: support tenders, sourcing initiatives and supplier reviews, including the full tender process and commercial discussions
• Procurement: support vendor management, spend analysis and reporting, and contract and commercial administration
• Procurement: propose improvements to simplify and automate procurement processes and take ownership of selected projects from planning to implementation
• Supply chain: coordinate logistics, including inventory management, warehousing and distribution, and monitor shipments for timely delivery
• Supply chain: work with 3PLs and service providers, help improve logistics KPIs, and support stock transfer plans and schedules
• Both areas: attend supplier and project meetings and collaborate with other departments on inventory initiatives

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in a related field
• Proactive, solutions-focused and able to engage with different stakeholders
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, taking instruction and open to coaching
• Any entrepreneurial experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
