About the role
A leading automotive company is seeking a hands‑on Finance Director to oversee regional financial operations. The role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day operational finance management.
Key responsibilities
- Revenue recognition and cash‑flow management.
- Regular review and analysis of project costs.
- Management of staff, overhead, and budgeting processes.
- Strategic reporting, expense analysis, controls and forecasting.
- Setting clear goals, providing feedback to the finance team and reporting to EXCO.
- Implementing and driving financial strategy across the region.
Required profile
- CA(SA) qualification.
- Minimum 15 years post‑article experience.
- At least 10 years senior management experience.
- Strong knowledge of finance and commercial policies.
- Experience in the automotive or dealership environment.
- Ability to recognise trends, analyse data and develop recommendations.
