Senior Manager, New Products, CIB Finance

About the role

This senior management position within Liberty's Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) finance division drives the bank's innovation agenda by bringing new and structured financial products to market while ensuring robust governance and risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to develop innovative CIB products.
• Identify, document and address governance protocols and risk assessments for new products.
• Participate actively in the New Products Committee (SBSA) and the ROA New Product Committee, presenting findings to senior executives.
• Facilitate collaboration among risk, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth product launches.
• Advise on integration of new products with existing CIB operating models and downstream risk areas.
• Ensure product initiatives align with Liberty's strategic goals and risk appetite.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience managing risk and governance frameworks.
• Extensive front‑office and downstream risk experience within a bank.
• Deep understanding of CIB operating models and their interlinkages.
• Significant experience in finance, audit, risk or financial control functions.
