About the role

Absa is seeking a full‑time Asset Finance Consultant to support business operations and drive bulk acquisition growth in Nelspruit. The role involves building relationships, researching market trends, and ensuring compliance with banking policies.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain professional relationships with industry leaders, regulators, policy makers and business partners.
Own and drive the business bulk acquisition strategy in line with the unit plan.
Research market developments daily through articles, publications, the internet and networking.
Coach, mentor and manage team members to meet targets and develop skills.
Stay current on internal policies, banking legislation and industry changes.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or Management Studies (or related qualification).
Experience in asset finance, business banking or related sales/relationship roles (advantageous).
People management experience (advantageous).
Strong networking, research and communication skills.
