Finance Accountant – Group Finance Role

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Accountant to join the Group Finance team of Chartered Wealth Solutions in Johannesburg. The role will support the financial management and reporting for a portfolio of entities, working closely with the Financial Manager to ensure accurate and timely information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end accounting function for allocated entities, including transaction processing, cash‑book entries and preparation of management accounts.
• Manage month‑end reporting, reconciliations, supporting schedules and financial records to deliver reliable reports.
• Investigate variances, discrepancies and accounting issues and drive them to resolution.
• Support group reporting, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting and audit requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements, financial controls, reporting enhancements and finance system initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
