About the role

The Enrolled Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients at Medicross Highway Rehabilitation Hospital, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting a safe clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent patient care in line with the Registered Nurse’s plan.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation.
• Manage stock, ensure proper charging, and assist with file compilation.
• Uphold waste‑management and safety standards, reporting any risks.
• Ensure correct use, cleaning, and storage of equipment; report repairs.
• Supervise Enrolled Nursing Assistants (ENAs) as required.
• Contribute to a therapeutic, clean, and safe environment free from medico‑legal hazards.

Required profile

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse.
• Ability to work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Accountable for personal acts and omissions.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Willingness to follow Netcare policies, including waste‑management and occupational safety.
