About the role
The Tshwane Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Gauteng Department of Health, is seeking seven Nursing Assistants to join its multidisciplinary team. This Grade 1 position offers an opportunity to support patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living and self‑care activities.
- Provide elementary clinical nursing care within the scope of practice.
- Deliver health education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
Required profile
- Qualification allowing SANC registration as a nursing assistant.
- Current SANC registration as a nursing assistant.
- Grade 1 – 0 to 10 years of experience (rehabilitation experience is an advantage).
Required skills
- Basic clinical nursing skills within the nursing assistant scope.
