About the role
An opportunity is available for a high‑calibre Ultra‑Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to distribute goods to various clients in Mafikeng.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for trips and operate ultra‑heavy‑duty vehicles.
- Load, transport and off‑load goods while ensuring loads are properly secured.
- Operate off‑loading equipment or oversee the process, and manage tarpaulins where applicable.
- Complete required documentation, perform administrative duties and interact professionally with customers.
- Maintain vehicle, uniform and PPE housekeeping and follow SOPs and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- Valid Code EC driver’s licence and PrDP (DGP).
- Minimum three years’ experience driving ultra‑heavy vehicles.
- Age 25 years or older, clean criminal record and safe driving record.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Required skills
- Defensive driving knowledge.
- Knowledge of vehicle components, inspections, fire extinguisher operation and loading techniques.
- Ability to maximise vehicle cost‑effectiveness and efficiency.
