About the role
We are seeking a proactive Small Supermarket Floor Manager to oversee daily operations at our Heidedal store in Bloemfontein. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and customer‑friendly environment while managing stock and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the store is clean, organised and welcoming for customers.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running and presentation of the store.
- Manage and monitor stock levels, receive and check deliveries.
- Replenish shelves promptly and accurately, keeping precise stock records.
- Work closely with merchandisers to optimise product placement.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain health and safety standards and monitor security to prevent loss.
Required profile
- Recent supervisory experience in a grocery supermarket or similar retail environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Customer‑service focused and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Comfortable with stock control and collaborating with merchandisers.
