About the role
Old Mutual is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Commissioned Financial Adviser in Bloemfontein to champion its customers' lifetime goals. The adviser identifies clients' financial needs, gives sound financial advice and recommends and implements fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. The role works mainly on own leads.
Key responsibilities
- Procure new business
- Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
- Identify financial needs and provide sound financial advice
- Recommend and implement fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions
Required profile
- NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required)
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the role
Required skills
- Sales: building trust, consultative selling, direct selling, strategic selling, sales data management and sales software
- Customer focus: customer service, understanding customers, qualifying prospects, strengthening relationships
- Communication: oral communication, probing questions, effective communication
