Junior System Administrator (Monitoring Team)

About the role

Join a partner company’s Monitoring Team as a Junior System Administrator. You will help keep products and infrastructure healthy by responding to alerts, investigating issues with Grafana and Zabbix, and escalating incidents when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor health and performance of services, handling 150‑250 alerts per shift.
• Investigate alerts using Grafana dashboards, Zabbix metrics and runbooks.
• Resolve issues directly or escalate to senior technical teams.
• Troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers and common infrastructure problems.
• Support primary and senior duty administrators and participate in major incident response.
• Take ownership of primary duty shifts after onboarding.
• Collaborate with a distributed international team across time zones.

Required profile

• 2+ years in system administration, NOC, monitoring or related technical support.
• Strong Linux command‑line skills (SSH/VPN, Bash scripting).
• Experience with Zabbix and Grafana at user level.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to work rotating 5/2 and 2/2 day‑and‑night shift schedules.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
