Investment Director – Relocate to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an experienced Investment Director to join our team. The role begins remotely and transitions to an on‑site position in Dubai, offering the chance to lead research‑driven investment processes across multiple strategies and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence by sourcing, screening, and evaluating opportunities across strategies and regions.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of performance, risk metrics, and team capabilities, maintaining regular contact with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, manage trackers, and deliver timely updates.
• Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policies, and geopolitical developments to inform portfolio positioning.
• Produce scenario analyses and actionable briefs for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication, and project‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.

Required skills

• Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Bloomberg terminal usage.
