Head of Tax - Advisory and New Markets

About the role

Super Group, a leading NYSE‑listed digital gaming company, is looking for a Head of Tax – Advisory and New Markets. In this senior position you will own the tax advisory function that underpins market entry, geographic expansion and new business initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory support for market entry, geographic expansion and new business initiatives, translating technical tax rules into clear commercial guidance.
• Partner with Strategy, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Treasury and Operations teams to embed tax considerations into planning and execution.
• Advise on legal entity structuring, operating models, value‑chain design and cross‑border operational tax exposure.
• Assess and manage risks such as permanent establishment, POEM and other cross‑border tax exposures.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, funding arrangements and intra‑group transactions, including tax due‑diligence and risk identification.
• Identify and evaluate tax incentives, exemptions, concessions and special regimes for new markets, balancing tax efficiency with reputational and governance considerations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory, preferably within a multinational or fast‑growing environment.
• Proven track record of advising on cross‑border transactions, M&A and tax structuring.
• Deep knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, indirect tax and related compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non‑tax stakeholders and work collaboratively with senior business partners.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
