About the role
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for members visiting the Sandton location. You will deliver exceptional customer service, create a welcoming atmosphere, and support day‑to‑day front‑desk operations.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Greet members, provide a positive first impression and assist with enquiries.
- Efficiently handle and resolve member queries.
- Maintain an organised and controlled reception area.
- Support group exercise classes when interested and willing.
- Ensure smooth hand‑over of information between shifts.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic PC literacy.
- Friendly, efficient and reflective of the Planet Fitness brand.
- High energy levels and ability to work flexible shifts.
- Reliable personal transport.
- Previous front‑desk or welcome‑desk experience is an advantage.
