About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for members visiting the Sandton location. You will deliver exceptional customer service, create a welcoming atmosphere, and support day‑to‑day front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately.
Greet members, provide a positive first impression and assist with enquiries.
Efficiently handle and resolve member queries.
Maintain an organised and controlled reception area.
Support group exercise classes when interested and willing.
Ensure smooth hand‑over of information between shifts.

Required profile

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic PC literacy.
Friendly, efficient and reflective of the Planet Fitness brand.
High energy levels and ability to work flexible shifts.
Reliable personal transport.
Previous front‑desk or welcome‑desk experience is an advantage.
