Temporary Receptionist – Fixed‑term (Oct–Dec 2026)

About the role

Our client, a growing Internet Service Provider in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking a professional Temporary Receptionist for a fixed‑term assignment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling calls, enquiries and basic administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming reception area.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Respond to customer enquiries about internet services and packages.
• Forward technical support queries to the appropriate department.
• Handle email and other customer communications.
• Assist account customers with basic queries and escalate to the Accounts Department when needed.
• Take accurate messages and ensure delivery to relevant staff.
• Receive and distribute mail, deliveries and documents.
• Perform general administration such as filing, data entry, printing and scanning.
• Schedule appointments and support installation bookings.
• Maintain accurate customer and company records and liaise with internal teams.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved matters.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Previous reception, front‑desk, customer service or administration experience is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Reliable, punctual, well‑presented and able to commute to Fisantekraal.
• Customer‑focused, calm under pressure and able to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Good computer literacy for standard office tasks.

What we offer

• Monthly salary ranging from R8,000 to R10,000.
• Fixed‑term contract from 1 October to 15 December 2026.
• Full‑time hours: Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
