Production Manager – Petrochemical Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Production Manager to lead on‑site petrochemical manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for safe, efficient and reliable production, overseeing daily output, plant availability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production to meet volume, quality and schedule targets.
• Optimize equipment, labour and material utilisation while ensuring SOP and regulatory compliance.
• Direct preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance programmes and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on work orders, CMMS data and spare parts management.
• Lead and develop production and maintenance teams, manage shift scheduling and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
• Ensure HSE compliance through audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Maintain product quality, manage deviations, and work with QA/QC to keep certifications audit‑ready.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and OEE initiatives to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Control operational budgets, monitor production cost per unit and ensure cost‑effective use of resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production management within the petrochemical or related industrial sector.
• Strong technical understanding of petrochemical processes and plant equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
