Trainer – Learning & Development (Centurion)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Trainer to coordinate, facilitate and assess learning and development interventions that support operational and business needs at our Centurion site. The role will deliver a range of technical, operational, leadership and compliance training while ensuring high learner engagement and capability growth.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and deliver training programmes in line with approved learning plans, covering technical, operational, leadership, onboarding and compliance topics.
• Conduct training needs analyses with operational stakeholders to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Develop, review and update training materials, facilitator guides, assessments, presentations and learner manuals, ensuring alignment with processes and compliance standards.
• Own learning delivery and coordination at the Centurion (and occasionally Polokwane) site, scheduling sessions and maintaining accurate attendance records.
• Assess learner competence, provide feedback and compile training reports, attendance registers and evaluation data.
• Support audits, compliance requirements and SETA‑related activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of the L&D function.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related field.
• Proven experience in delivering corporate training and conducting needs analyses.
• Strong ability to adapt facilitation methods to diverse learner and operational needs.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
