About the role
STADIO Higher Education is seeking an Arts Lecturer to teach and assess BEd foundation and intermediate phase programmes. This fixed‑term role runs until 30 June 2027 and combines contact and distance learning responsibilities on the Centurion campus.
Key responsibilities
- Lecture and assess Creative Arts and Arts Education modules for BEd foundation and intermediate phase students.
- Design, develop and deliver high‑quality module content using the learning management system.
- Contribute to curriculum design, review and improvement of learning materials.
- Perform internal moderation duties to ensure academic integrity and compliance.
- Invigilate venue‑based assessments in line with examination policies.
- Participate in teaching practice assessments, providing feedback to student teachers.
- Provide academic support and timely communication to students and colleagues.
- Maintain administrative efficiency and adhere to institutional SOPs.
- Attend meetings, workshops and serve on relevant committees as required.
