Tender Engineer

About the role

Conlog is seeking a Tender Engineer to lead the end‑to‑end tender and bid process for its smart metering solutions. The role supports business growth by securing new contracts across utility, municipal and private‑sector markets, ensuring proposals are technically compliant, commercially competitive and aligned with client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and qualify tender opportunities that match Conlog’s strategic objectives.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, commercial terms and contractual requirements in tender documents.
• Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of accurate, compliant and competitive tenders.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants and clients throughout the tender lifecycle.
• Develop pricing structures that align with company strategy, cost models and risk profiles.
• Manage tender clarifications, responses and post‑submission negotiations.
• Oversee awarded contracts to ensure compliance with commercial and legal terms.
• Maintain tender and contract records, audit trails and risk assessments in line with internal governance.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Legal qualification or demonstrable knowledge of contract law is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tender, proposal or contract management.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector procurement processes.
• Experience in utilities or electrical engineering is a plus.
