About the role
The Technologist – Architecture (Data Centre) will support architectural and engineering activities within AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team, delivering high‑quality technical services for data centre projects. This role combines calculation work, drawing preparation and liaison with design teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations.
- Prepare specifications, reports and related data tables.
- Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
- Prepare, review and approve drawings as required.
- Complete design assignments of moderate complexity under supervision.
- Perform material take‑offs for the discipline.
Required profile
- Degree in Architectural Technology (BTech).
- Registered Candidate Architectural Technologist (SACAP).
- 1‑3 years experience as an Architectural Technologist.
- Limited familiarity with codes, permits and software applications related to the discipline.
Required skills
- Architectural calculations.
- Material take‑offs.
