Senior Structural Engineer – Data Center

About the role

The Senior Engineer will lead structural design for data centre projects, delivering high‑quality calculations, drawings and reports. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate across disciplines and ensure designs meet client expectations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a design team of junior and mid‑level structural engineers, providing mentorship and daily direction.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to produce fully coordinated BIM design deliverables.
• Develop and review structural designs using Revit, Tekla, Etabs, SAP2000, Robot, RFEM and Idea Statica.
• Interface with clients on schedules, meetings and technical issues, managing expectations.
• Support business development by contributing to bids, proposals and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (M.Eng or MSc preferred) with at least 8 years post‑qualification experience.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr.Eng. for a minimum of 3 years.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively and work under pressure.
• Experience with American and/or European design codes is advantageous.
