Technical Sales Representative (3 positions)

About the role

Vela Personnel is looking for three driven Technical Sales Representatives to join a manufacturing client in Gauteng. You will manage key accounts, develop new business, and provide technical consultation to customers in the heating energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within defined markets.
• Grow existing customer accounts and explore expansion opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, understanding customer processes and applications.
• Provide solution‑driven technical support and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Set and monitor sales targets, forecast performance, and report progress monthly and quarterly.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 2‑3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the heating energy industry.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving and commercial understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and adapt quickly.
