Junior Partnership Account Manager

About the role

Vela Personnel is looking for a dynamic Junior Partnership Account Manager to join its Acquisition team. You will support the company’s ambition to become the leading source of alternative retail finance for SMEs in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trust‑based relationships with acquisition channels, ensuring mutual benefit and preventing churn.
• Understand channel needs, propose solutions, and lead projects that align with their business objectives.
• Coordinate internal communication between the Acquisition Manager and sales executives while keeping external lines clear.
• Manage aggregator relationships, drive outreach initiatives, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Generate and qualify leads, prepare reports, and manage projects within budget.
• Train portfolio employees to identify and act on opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the company’s financing products and industry trends.
• Support accurate data capture and provide partnership analytics.
