IT Sales Consultant – Full‑Time

About the role

Our client is seeking an IT Sales Consultant to join their established team in Midrand. The role combines hunting new business opportunities with farming existing client relationships, offering stability and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Receive email and telephone enquiries and provide quotes within four hours.
• Follow up on quotes, process sales orders and maintain daily call logs.
• Cold‑call and acquire new clients while regularly contacting the allocated customer base.
• Maintain and nurture relationships from the existing customer database.
• Update the customer database and create sales plans for major customers per product group.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of all sales data.
• Collaborate with management on sales strategies and attend required training sessions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in an IT sales environment.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• IT qualification beneficial, with at least A+ and N+ certifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• A+ certification.
• N+ certification.
