Technical Operator

About the role

The Technical Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production and bottling line equipment, ensuring smooth and safe manufacturing processes. This role combines equipment operation, first‑line maintenance, and quality control to maintain product integrity and line efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and bottling line machinery in accordance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Execute planned, corrective, and complex repair tasks within a Millwright/Mechatronics scope.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, basic maintenance and first‑line troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and opportunistic maintenance to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with Process Artisans and Production Process Controller to maintain consistent product quality and line efficiency.
• Record and report production data, machine performance and any anomalies throughout the process.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with Warehouse Operator to ensure smooth material flow and timely replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, 5S standards and safety procedures, following proper escalation protocols.
