Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Production team at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of plant equipment through effective maintenance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Perform equipment inspections and condition monitoring to anticipate failures.
• Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record work orders and track maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and OEM documentation for accurate repairs.
• Ensure SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance during all maintenance activities.
• Support root cause analysis investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to strict quality and regulatory standards.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
