Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant

About the role

VBKOM is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant to deliver technical solutions for mining and capital‑intensive projects. You will apply industrial‑engineering toolkits to analyse data, model simulations and support client decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Principal Industrial Engineering and execute project deliverables.
• Deliver custom solutions within a multi‑disciplinary team and coordinate with mining, geology, metallurgy and project management departments.
• Lead client engagements, ensure technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Use templates and technical models for decision support and facilitate client workshops.
• Prepare final reports and documentation for consulting projects.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Required profile

• BEng/BTech degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
• More than 5 years experience on mining projects.
• At least 2 years experience in consulting services.
• Basic understanding of the mining value chain and capital project lifecycle.
• Expertise in at least one VBKOM industrial‑engineering service.
• Professional Engineering Registration (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Alignment with VBKOM values.
