Technical Administrator

About the role

Renlaw Engineering is seeking a Technical Administrator to support its industrial cutting‑tool business. The role blends customer engagement, engineering support, and IT systems management, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for new and existing customer parts.
• Engage with customers to develop new components and solutions.
• Resolve technical queries efficiently and professionally.
• Read and generate technical drawings.
• Oversee managed services such as Microsoft 365, firewall security, fibre networking, printers, 3CX phone system, and MRP systems.
• Coordinate with service providers to maintain system performance.
• Manage fleet administration, including licences and service renewals.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Highly detail‑oriented, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
