SAP ABAP Developer - OMS

About the role

Great ABAP code is only half the job. As an ABAP Developer you will build and maintain SAP Output Management System (OMS) solutions that run reliably when the business needs them most. You will work both independently and collaboratively within an international consulting team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and support ABAP objects for SAP OMS, including reports, integrations, forms, workflows and output processes.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues, working with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, OData and web services.
• Support testing, documentation and release activities to ensure first‑time‑right output objects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, analysts and testers, escalating to senior specialists when required.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of ABAP development experience.
• Relevant IT, Computer Science or Software Development qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP, ABAP Objects, Open SQL, Data Dictionary, debugging and performance analysis.
• Experience with ALV, Smart Forms or Adobe Forms, enhancements, BAdIs, BAPIs, IDocs and RFCs.
• Exposure to S/4HANA, CDS, Fiori, RAP or ABAP Cloud is a plus.
