Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the planning, coordination and optimisation of the end‑to‑end supply chain for battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will balance cost, quality, delivery timelines and working‑capital efficiency while ensuring a reliable flow of critical components and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply‑chain strategies aligned with project schedules and business goals.
• Manage procurement of electronic, electrical and mechanical parts such as PCBs, battery cells, BMS, sheet‑metal and plastic components.
• Oversee sourcing and coordination of services including container manufacturing, cabling, HVAC and fire‑suppression systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers; negotiate pricing, contracts and supply agreements.
• Lead demand planning, inventory optimisation and material‑requirements planning (MRP) within an ERP environment.
• Monitor supply‑chain risks – lead times, logistics constraints, supplier performance – and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and production teams to align procurement with technical requirements and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce or a related field with a focus on Supply Chain Management.
• 5–10 years of experience in supply‑chain, procurement or logistics within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Proven experience sourcing electronic, electrical and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with project‑based or engineered‑product environments, preferably in energy or industrial manufacturing.
