Messenger / Bode (Legal Document Courier)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Messenger/Bode to handle the delivery and collection of legal documents for a well‑established law firm in Pretoria. The role involves supporting attorneys and legal staff by ensuring timely and confidential transport of court‑related paperwork.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect legal documentation to and from courts, clients and relevant institutions.
• Attend to court‑related deliveries and follow up on court dates according to practice directives.
• Assist attorneys and legal staff with errands and document handling.
• Maintain confidentiality of all legal information.
• Keep accurate records of all deliveries and collections.
• Ensure documents are delivered within required deadlines.

Required profile

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Good understanding of Pretoria High Court practice directives.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar courier or messenger role (advantageous).
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Trustworthy, punctual and able to handle confidential documentation responsibly.
