Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst – E-Commerce

About the role

Our client seeks an experienced Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst to own stock management, inventory reconciliation and supply‑chain analysis in a fast‑paced international e‑commerce environment. The role sits at the intersection of finance, inventory, and operations, requiring a deep understanding of how stock moves through an end‑consumer business.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of stock and inventory reconciliations across multiple systems, warehouses and sales channels.
• Reconcile physical and system stock levels, investigate discrepancies and drive resolutions.
• Match Amazon inventory and stock movements against internal records, reviewing ledger reports and adjustments.
• Track stock movements between warehouses, ensuring accurate accounting during transfers.
• Analyse SKU‑level inventory to identify risks, excess, shortages and unusual patterns.
• Support inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment activities.
• Pull together data from finance, supply chain, warehouse and operations to produce clear management reports.
• Structure and analyse large datasets, proactively identifying root‑cause issues and supporting month‑end reporting.

Required profile

• Curious and investigative mindset; does not stop at identifying mismatches but seeks the underlying cause.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting and proactively engaging cross‑functional teams.
• Background in inventory planning, supply‑chain analysis, stock control, e‑commerce or Amazon FBA operations.
• Experience handling large SKU portfolios and high‑volume inventory data.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data extraction, reconciliation and analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP or inventory‑management systems.
• Experience with marketplace platforms such as Amazon FBA.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform quantitative analysis.
