Stock Controller

About the role

Our client Flamite (Pty) Ltd, a leading coal and logistics company, is seeking a Stock Controller for its Witbank depot. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and update accurate inventory records.
• Track all stock movements, including receipts and dispatches.
• Perform regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure optimal stock levels to support operational requirements.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist with stock audits.
• Liaise with operations and procurement teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
• Good computer literacy and experience using inventory management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in mining, coal, logistics, or bulk materials industry is advantageous.
• Experience with Sage Accpac is advantageous.
