Service Technician – Brandvalley Wind Farm

About the role

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to join the Brandvalley Wind Farm team. You will be responsible for maintaining and installing wind turbine equipment while upholding the highest safety and quality standards on an on‑site renewable energy project.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards, act as a safety role model and intervene when unsafe acts occur.
• Identify safety gaps and risks, propose mitigation measures and report to senior technical staff.
• Perform intermediate‑level wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, using specialized calibration, hydraulic and power tools.
• Document work activities and enter data into the company SAP system.
• Gather turbine performance information, diagnose routine issues and recommend solutions.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment such as basic Fluke meters and hydraulic pressure gauges.
• Seek assistance for complex problems beyond trained skill level and follow structured troubleshooting processes.

• Competence in documenting tasks and entering data into SAP.
