Senior Commercial Business Finance Broker & Team Lead

About the role

Take ownership of UK commercial finance opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful completion, while leading, coaching and supporting a growing brokerage team. The role is based in Cape Town with the possibility to work remotely and follows UK business hours (08:00–17:00).

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to new borrower enquiries, conduct comprehensive discovery and fact‑find conversations.
• Review financial information, identify credit and risk concerns, and recommend suitable commercial‑finance products.
• Prepare clear lender proposals, manage applications, and coordinate documentation and payout.
• Present funding offers, handle objections, and convert approvals into funded outcomes.
• Lead, coach and support a growing team of brokers, monitoring case progression and service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience brokering UK commercial finance, including managing applications from enquiry to payout.
• Strong knowledge of UK commercial‑finance products, lenders, and current market criteria.
• Proven experience leading or coaching a brokerage or sales team with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.

• Competitive salary of R55 000–R65 000 per month plus a 20–30% commission opportunity.
