SAP Systems Administrator

About the role

Evotec Plastics, a Cape Town‑based manufacturer of innovative packaging, is looking for an SAP Systems Administrator. The role focuses on reliable SAP administration, protecting the accuracy of user access, master data and business transactions, and will later expand to creditor responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reception, main switchboard, consumables, stationery, couriers, filing and archive administration.
• Serve as the first internal point of contact for routine SAP queries.
• Coordinate approved user creation, amendment and removal while maintaining the user‑access register.
• Load new business partners, manage credit applications, and maintain approved customer, supplier, product and pricing master data.
• Train new SAP users and provide refresher training when recurring errors are identified.
• Verify supporting documents, identify inaccurate or incomplete master data, and maintain an audit trail of changes.
• Monitor incomplete, blocked, outstanding or incorrectly processed transactions and assist departments in correcting errors.
• Manage creditor processes up to account reconciliation and payment preparation.

Required profile

• Experience with SAP system administration and user‑access management.
• Proficiency in master data creation, maintenance and audit.
• Ability to train end‑users and troubleshoot recurring SAP issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor and correct transaction errors.
• Experience handling creditor processes and account reconciliation is a plus.
