Sales Representative Midrand

About the role

JSM Business Services and Recruitment is seeking a confident, target‑driven Sales Representative to grow sales and strengthen relationships within an established automotive dealer network in Gauteng. The role focuses on direct selling, consistent follow‑up, and converting customer interest into long‑term business.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the organisation’s range of products and services, contributing to increased auction sales.
• Visit and call on OEM dealerships that use the DealersOnline system.
• Identify and contact existing and prospective customers through telephone engagement and dealer visits.
• Build professional relationships, generate interest, negotiate sales, handle objections and close deals.
• Prepare and distribute accurate weekly and monthly reports to dealers and dealer groups.
• Follow up on outstanding debtor accounts to keep debts under 60 days.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Protect the organisation against commercial and reputational risk.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Willingness to travel, work flexible hours and overtime when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Knowledge of the DealersOnline Valuation System (or ability to learn it quickly).
