Revenue Reservations Manager

About the role

A leading hospitality environment is looking for an experienced Revenue Reservations Manager to lead its reservations function. The role combines guest‑service focus, revenue optimisation and team leadership in a fast‑paced hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Reservations Team, ensuring efficient daily operations and high service standards.
• Oversee FIT and Group reservations, handling contracts, invoicing and room allocations.
• Prepare daily pick‑up analysis, budgeting reports and revenue forecasts.
• Implement yield‑management strategies and optimise distribution channels.
• Control inventory, including overbookings, cancellations and payment tracking.
• Manage online booking platforms and evaluate partner performance.
• Collaborate with Sales and other departments on occupancy, rates and guest requirements.
• Assist with site inspections, identify revenue growth opportunities and ensure market competitiveness.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure compliance with health, safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven supervisory and team‑management experience.
• Strong knowledge of revenue control and yield management.
• Experience with banqueting or events bookings.
• Hotel School Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification (minimum Grade 12).

• MS Office (essential).
• INFOR (advantageous).
