Revenue Manager – Hotel Revenue Optimization

About the role

The Revenue Manager will lead the hotel’s revenue strategy, using data‑driven pricing, yield management and inventory optimisation to maximise profitability across all market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine forecasting models for occupancy, ADR and RevPAR using historical and real‑time data.
• Analyse market demand, competitor pricing, seasonal trends and external factors to inform pricing decisions.
• Manage all distribution channels (OTAs, direct, GDS) ensuring optimal mix, performance and rate‑parity compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to align promotional campaigns with demand.
• Monitor daily pickup, pace and booking trends, making proactive adjustments to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Produce detailed performance reports, dashboards and executive summaries with actionable commercial insights.
• Identify revenue risks and opportunities and implement corrective strategies in real time.
• Optimise room inventory allocation across segments to maximise profitability and occupancy.
• Lead revenue meetings and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in hotel revenue management, reservations or commercial operations.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in competitive hospitality environments.
• Experience with multiple distribution channels including OTAs, direct booking engines and GDS platforms.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate market intelligence into pricing decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IDeaS Revenue Management System.
• Proficiency with Duetto Revenue Management Platform.
• Experience using Opera PMS.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Data analysis and quantitative forecasting capabilities.
