Retail Sales Associate

About the role

As a Retail Sales Associate you will support store operations, deliver excellent customer service and help maintain adidas brand standards on the sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, credit and checks.
• Assist with product flow from stockroom to sales floor and support merchandising displays.
• Secure company assets and stock to minimise shrinkage.
• Use selling techniques such as add‑on sales and technical product explanations to meet sales targets.
• Greet customers, act as a greeter during busy periods and maintain general housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• 2‑4 years of retail experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet sales goals.
• High energy, people‑skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
