Receiving and Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

The Receiving and Dispatch Coordinator ensures smooth branch warehouse operations by handling stock accurately, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing professional support to internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, shelve, and dispatch all shipments in line with SOPs.
• Identify and promptly escalate any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects on time and to a high standard.
• Process payments according to SOPs, ensuring accuracy.
• Handle returned stock with proper documentation and processing.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients, couriers, and drivers.
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Escalate client concerns or feedback to the Branch Supervisor in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of similar experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
• Behavioural traits: proactive, attention to detail, adaptability, problem‑solving, time management, customer‑centric.
