About the role
Shoprite is recruiting a PR Intern in Cape Town (reference SHO261015-6) to support its corporate communications and public relations activities. The internship closes on 24 October 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Support corporate communications and PR campaigns
- Help prepare content
- Support stakeholder events, supplier coordination and reporting
Required profile
- Recent graduate or currently studying in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, Digital Media, Corporate Communication or a related field
- Relevant academic, volunteer or practical communications experience preferred
- Demonstrated interest in communications
- Unemployed graduate status, as most internships require it
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Communication, organisational and basic research skills
