Pharmacy Manager – Town Square

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead the dispensary and clinic teams at the Town Square store, ensuring safe, accurate dispensing and high‑quality pharmaceutical care while meeting sales and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, including accurate dispensing and generic substitution.
• Manage stock safely, control shrinkage, and maintain housekeeping and administration in line with SAPC regulations.
• Oversee financial performance, monitor expenses, and achieve core dispensary and clinic targets.
• Recruit, lead, and develop staff, learners and interns, ensuring appropriate scheduling and compliance with labour policies.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance experience, loyalty, and club‑card participation.
• Integrate pharmacy services with the clinic to provide a comprehensive health offering.
• Promote the Group’s vision and values, fostering a cohesive, high‑performing business culture.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) regulations and ethical practice.
• Experience in stock, cost, risk, and compliance management procedures.
• Proficiency in patient care counselling and customer service excellence.
• Understanding of labour legislation, industrial relations practices, and competency‑based interviewing.
• Solid grasp of financial management principles applied to retail pharmacy operations.
