Mine Reconciliation Engineer – Kolomela

About the role

We are looking for a Mine Reconciliation Engineer to join the Technical & Integrated Planning team at our Kolomela operation. The role supports the Mine Technical Service department by ensuring data‑driven reconciliation of the value chain and compliance between the mine plan, actual production and subsequent plans.

Key responsibilities

• Apply safety and health principles in all site activities and participate in VFLs, risk assessments and safety action close‑outs.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis and reporting to maximise efficiency of the value‑chain reconciliation process.
• Measure and monitor spatial compliance with the mine plan on a monthly basis and produce compliance reports.
• Perform plan‑to‑plan compliance checks using laser measurement devices, 3D scanners or BIM software, report findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate deviations, propose and communicate corrective measures to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant National Diploma (NQF 6) or Technical Degree/BTech Engineering (NQF 7).
• 3‑5 years of operational experience in open‑cast mining.
• Valid South African driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards.
