Millwright – Ferrochrome Mine Operations

About the role

Join a leading ferrochrome recovery operation serving the Rustenburg, Brits and Steelpoort area. As a Millwright you will ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of mechanical and electrical plant within a dynamic mining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, fault‑find and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in mineral processing.
• Support maintenance administration and stand in for the Maintenance Superintendent when required.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuity.
• Participate in a rotating standby roster and respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance outside normal hours.

Required profile

• N3 qualified Millwright with a Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) or equivalent.
• Completed Millwright apprenticeship from an accredited provider.
• 3–5 years post‑trade experience in mining or mineral processing.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
