Marketing Coordinator

About the role

A large manufacturing company based in Zambia is looking for a motivated Marketing Coordinator. The role supports the implementation of marketing strategies, coordinates promotional activities, monitors market trends and contributes to the company's marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, industry trends and competitor activity.
• Support product marketing, brand development and new product launches.
• Coordinate with Sales and other departments to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.
• Help prepare marketing materials, presentations, product catalogs and promotional content.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on results.
• Support digital marketing, including social media content and online promotions.
• Help organize exhibitions, events and other promotional activities.
• Maintain up-to-date product information and marketing documentation, and collect market feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Exposure to product marketing, consumer goods or manufacturing operations.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of marketing principles, market research and brand management.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of marketing performance metrics and reporting.
