Marketing and Communications Coordinator

About the role

Life Healthcare is recruiting a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Life Midmed Hospital in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The post reports to the Hospital Manager and leads marketing, brand management, stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives aimed at growing hospital referrals and service volumes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies.
• Promote hospital services and specialists to GPs and the community.
• Build relationships with specialists, media and other stakeholders.
• Analyse referral statistics and prepare marketing reports.
• Create branded brochures, leaflets and marketing materials.
• Manage the marketing budget and measure campaign performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate branding guidelines.
• Manage media relations and monitor social media reputation.
• Support patient communication and service improvements.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Marketing and Communications.
• Six years of relevant work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, travel and manage stakeholder relationships under pressure.
• Advantageous: hospital or healthcare marketing experience and proven copywriting skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including pivot tables.
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Marketing research and strategy development.
• Ability to measure campaign results and return on investment.
