Digital Marketing Specialist, Corporate and Investment Banking

About the role

The Corporate and Investment Banking division of Liberty is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its Johannesburg team. The role drives integrated digital marketing and communication strategies across business units, sectors and regions, using data, customer insights and AI to improve client experience and campaign results. It suits a marketing professional who wants to shape digital initiatives within a leading financial services group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run integrated digital marketing and communication campaigns for specific business units, countries, sectors, products or coverage areas.
• Use data analytics, customer insights and UX principles to improve client journeys and campaign performance.
• Apply AI where relevant to personalise communications and drive efficiencies.
• Keep the brand consistent and deliver a clear message across all digital touchpoints.
• Manage and optimise channels such as website management, social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO and SEM.
• Monitor, analyse and report campaign performance with key metrics and adjust accordingly.
• Work with cross-functional teams and present marketing plans to executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• First degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience developing marketing campaigns and content.
• Experience with website management, social media, email, content marketing and SEO/SEM.
• Ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines.
• 1-2 years of experience presenting marketing plans to executives.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems and analytics platforms; knowledge of the financial services industry is highly advantageous.
